Growth strategy
Anvil has a clear and achievable growth strategy supported by high grade resources. The Company plans to more than double copper production from 40,000 tonnes in 2007 to over 100,000 tonnes per annum in 2010; at the same time investing in downstream processing to add value to the Company's products. Operations and projects
The Company has three established mining and processing operations at Dikulushi, Kulu and Kinsevere. Kinsevere was commissioned during the first week of June 2007, producing the first copper concentrates on June 9, 2007.
A sustainable future
A strong commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility is helping to set the foundation for continued development of Anvil's operations. Dikulushi, one of the richest copper-silver mines in the world, achieved record production for the fourth consecutive year in 2006 with 22 618 t of copper and 2,2-million ounces of silver contained in concentrates.
